Was a great win. North looked like they were just happy to play finals, like they have looked since they booked a day in September. Absolutely pathetic display by North, but take nothing away from West Coast, they were brilliant!

Good to see both WA teams got a win over two Vic teams and the Scott sisters, you know what they say about the Scott sisters... Scott no goals in the first quarter!

The smart money is on a fracture somewhere in beau's foot. Tune in tonight to see if common sense prevails.

Time will tell.

I doubt Waters will play again this season, they carried him half the boundary line with both feet off the ground.

its been confirmed that waters season is over. Scans revealed that he has seperated one of the sesamoid bones in his foot and also damaged ligaments under the joint is his big toe. he will have surgery later this week to remove the sesamoid bone and repair the ligaments. recovery period is 8 -10 weeks.

Lynch can also accept a 1 match ban for charging

Who would have thought, a fractured foot? wink.gif

A shame for Beau and the eagles, will be sorely missed.

After 2 days in an alcohol induced state of denial and a relatively merciful hangover I have emerged into a post-Geelong September to declare a couple of things....

Firstly! What the HELL happened in that first quarter!!!!! (Rhetorical, I am aware of the tactical towelling Scotty received from the West Australian's "Most Hated Man in Footy! September 2011 to July 2012".)

Secondly! I'm glad it wasn't West Coast!!! (The West Australian's "Best thing since No Daylight Saving! April 1987 to .......")

I'm obviously still delirious.... wacko.gif

Lynch got off ey....there you go..... I'm not sure if I'm confused or still drunk.....

Ha ha. Much as I would love to have been Harvey for that moment of madness he couldn't have expected much less for that....

Dockers have flown under the radar all season. They are a good side and Lyon seems to have tuned them up at the right time after copping a heap of flak earlier this year.

I don't think the crows will be all that confident especially after such a poor performance last week. I'd expect the first quarter will be awesome with both teams going hammer and tong knowing the other side will be hard to beat.

The eagles will get smashed though as the ducking tactics against form sides won't stand up with the more lenient umpiring that seems to prevail during finals.
