It may evaporate the chlorine but not chloramines, or ammonia (or other way around).
It comes out of the tap at 7.4ph, 115 gh. will test the water in the morning to see what it is after sitting smile.gif

Do your fish rub against plants?


i have no plants but rocks sometimes they do rub but nothing abnormal

mmmm my pH is around 8+ in midland area so its the same in my tank temp is about the same and chlorine i add my water ager 1st then add water in bucket so its well mixed

yer may do if its just in storage its only 5watts lol iam more worried about winter my room is the coldest in the house ( far end) and i got 200watts in total i wouldn't care if its my home but its my dads so yer i don't pay bills any tips on heating btw i got styrofoam on the side back and under that 50% and heater set to 26.5
