the post above is perfect i use grow and sinking 1mm pellets from NLS, mind you my fish never eat the same food 2 nights in a row....

Anyways I Love Nls And New Era,

But Stay Away From H2O Stable Wafers ive got 2.2 kgs of it and i only feed it to my BN fry tank because it makes my tanks smell like a pan full of curry leaves and garlic... seriously i even spray down anything thats been in/out of the tank just for the smell, im actually thinking of binning the whole 2 kgs

and in like 2 seconds after its hit the bottom its dissovling into powder

yeah i like NLS food but wasn't impressed with the H2O stable wafers for my catfish

they seemed to like the HBH Algae Grazer food better. Anyone know if HBH changed the ingredients on the Algae Grazer food?

It would be good to see a new poll done on this, like the one started in 2008 that's pinned (Type Of Fish Vs Food Brands)
an updated poll to see how much has changed in 6 years

Hi All,

We will be launching a new Algae range very soon. All the import permit/requirement work is done so expect the food in a couple of months. The range will include a Gel form, 1mm and 2mm pellets.

Will do guys.. It'll be a couple of months, at least.

Initially Algae Max came in (1mm and 2mm) only 125g and 250g jar sizes. I didn't want to bring it in to the AUS market without a 2kg bucket, so after some discussions Pablo and Ian agreed to extend the line to a 2kg bucket :). Labels are done, and the order placed this week.

My fish are loving Hikari. My green terrors always eat so much on the day that they are about to spawn. They eat Hikari until they can't eat no more lol. Then they spawn, if they don't eat just before they spawn then they will delay spawning for another day.

I love NLS! I feed it to all my fish!! Cost is a little higher than some average foods but it last way longer coz you only need to feed small amounts! I feed my tropheus Thera A and they love it! Growth rates are amazing, colours are fantastic and never had any dramas with bloat or other problems :)
