Business Fish Tanks...

There is a mix of Americans and Africans in a blue planet (think about 200L) two rocks and two ornaments... I can see the odd one doing normal stuff but when I look at this tank it just looks like they are sad. What's your opinions on business tanks where they obviously have done no research

From my seeing, a lot of business aquariums are pretty average, with odd fish mixes, crappy scaping and minimal maintenances looking to be practiced.
On the other end ive heard and see pics of some wicked ones. Ive heard of a tackle shop that keeps an albino pagansius shark! now that's cool!
Kambos had the most impressive business aquariumid ever seen!!! oh and the biggest in house type aquarium, some one got a pic of it? if so post it that thing was insane!

It's the obvious 'great idea, now its too hard' thing generally occurs. A fish tank is awesome for the first 3 months then the people get lazy maintaining it.
I think businesses can be the same, but they general public do kinda keep them in check a bit more.
I have seen some great tanks (one at a surf shop at Rottenest) and years ago at South Perth Medical.
But I have seen a poor looking one at Dunsborugh Nick-nacks shop.

Yes they like the idea of looking at a pretty tank with colour full fish but don't realize what's involved and the novelty soon wears off. A aquarium requires time and money to maintain it and they are usually to lazy or tight. Usually a good indicator how the business is run. A good example is all the large tanks in Coventry markets, these could of been a nice draw card for the markets but instead IMO there just a waste of a big aquarium and a eyesore.

sorry didn't mean YOU, but someONE looking for extra pocket money
Need a lot of knowledge, especially about accessories/filters and how to fix problem that always occur. Plus, businesses are always looking to get it done by someone who's got an abn and can give a receipt so they can get that off tax...

first off - i'm not a 'he'
secondly - i'm asian.. i'm allowed to generalised against my own kind =p
hahaha
theres a reason that every other asian restaurant / take away / nail salon / deli / bakery etc etc doe not have Eftpos facilities and accepts CASH ONLY.
The nail shop near my house has CASH ONLY sundays. Gee i wonder why...
If any of you are in the area - if you go in to Nishi's Japanese Restaurant in Myaree , they have a nice display tank in the entrance. Except there looks to be a fish stuck in the sump area, poor guy looks like he's been in there for weeks.
