sam i've no experience with marine at all. how difficult is it to keep a marine tank of this size? how often are you doing water changes, and does that tank come with an all in one filter setup?

Cheers
Chris

no more harder than freshwater (even easier in some aspects)

(Leevers)
? how often are you doing water changes

hehe not enough it was about once a month but now im getting saltwater at a good price im doing it fortnighly, when i get the time

(Leevers)
does that tank come with an all in one filter setup?

it does but im only using the machine filtration in it pulled the bio balls out and stuck zeolite in. im using the live rock as my filter

Do tanks of that size need one badly or not. I guess the size would make it awkward to put a skimmer in

That has to be one of the best nano tanks i have seen! 5 stars mate because you still have room for even more corals biggrin.gif

When i first saw the tank i thought hmm it may be a little small but now that i have seen it with corals it seems there is a heap of room and they are booming.

Also if you really wanted a protein could you have a syphon and a small pump and get like a acrylic box made up with a protein in it outside the tank (behind it) kinda like a mini sump then just pump the water back into the tank. The_German sold me these little 250 liter per hour pumps that where like two match boxes lined up to each other in size.

Just check your system though if it is fine with out the protein them really why goto the trouble to have one biggrin.gif

Can't wait to see any more updates biggrin.gif

Get some nice coral morphs and propergate them by cutting them in half with a sharp razor blade and do it every couple of months.
