Hi all

To my amazement this morning I found my barra hanging out of the mouth of my stonefish!!! The barra was about the same length of the stonefish. It'll be interesting to see how his digestive system holds up against this.

Here's a pic of the barra against a fully grown damsel taken about 2 months ago.

They were together for about 3-4 months. The damsels and cod are too clever and agile to get caught. Coz the barra's swim with their snout pointed down it gave the stonefish a perfect size chuck to grab onto.

Hey Fives

I'm not sure if the spines are still there nor am I willing to find out..... 8O lol

I use a claw/tong whenever possible. The lionfish are the tricky ones to watch out for coz they're so inquisitive, fast when they wanna be and react to ppl passing the tank just like oscars.

barramuni are full brackish fish they will and can survive in both full fresh (the fresh part should only be as a juvenile) and full saltwater.
