By far the best Looking Geo I've kept.

Got 12 of these guys off Ray a while ago. Unsure exactly what ratio.

Waiting for a couple to pair off and I'm going to separate in a tank out the back and have a crack at breeding them.

Here's a couple of pics of what seems to be the alpha male turning it on after a water change this evening!

If anybody else is keeping/breeding these guys I'd love to see some pics and hear some advice.

Cheers,

Sam.

#282193 Dumping Shrimp Into The River!!!

Posted by SamJohns on 25 April 2013 - 01:10 AM

A friend of my girlfriends house got "raided" because he was breeding and selling some shrimp to people who wanted them for their tanks. NOT TO RELEASE THEM IN THE RIVER!!!

Why target shrimp and not carp??? Or even the notorious Geophagus Brasiliensis that's "destroying the swan". Pretty sure there are currently a few gumtree adverts with those guys for sale...

Water nice and clear when I woke up this morning. Think I'm happy where the wood is for now.

Still need to get a stronger light. Just running a 4ft single globe i had lying around.

Deceiving from the front how much room there actually is.
