Was holding down that piece of driftwood. Lights are off now, will probably remove it tomorrow. Which is a shame because one of my snakehead gudgeons hides underneath it.

Markets definitely flooded, also sad to think how many of these guys are gonna be under housed and under cared for, already evident with a lot of less then average condition ones on gumtree.
you notice a funny pecking order among yours Alex? I have 1 massive female that smashes the crap out of the only male in my tnak, all 3 females squabble, especially after a massive feed or big water change.
just got to get a couple temensis and ill be happy.

That is strange that your female beats the male. Could be because she is more established than the new male.
My biggest fish looks to be a famle - in the sense that there is no hump, and it doesnt have an overly domninant disposition.
There is no real pecking order - have about 5 males that constantly squabble amongst each other, no real damage ever gets done.
Yeah Bass are a funny one, that need to be cared for very well to show their full potential, underfed fish in small tanks just look rubbish.

Another Pup and a small ornatus catfish. Pup how grown a heap since the pics were taken but looks fairly similar, starting to morph a bit now around the face, lots of small more intricate pattern starting to appear between the central spotting.
Looking awesome mate
Cheers bud.
