Hey all,

I am going topics up my 90x45x45cm aquarium next week from Seaview and was wondering if substrate is important when breeding L201s.

I have heard some people saying that the substrate's effect on the fish is insignificant yet others say you must have a bare bottom tank.

I have aqua soil shrimp gravel for planted tanks and was wanting to know if it would be better to use that or no substrate at all.

Cheers

I have gravel in my 201 tank, and they breed every 6 weeks.
