Hi All, Where can i get an egg tumbler from? I've made them before but never had much success, just wanted to see if i can get a "brand" name one or at least one that someone has used and can recommend...
Thanks...

the ones on the diy at SCP work fine/excellent
the trick is to have the right amount of tumbling, to do that
1) the position of the airstone in the tube affects it
2) have an air pump with adjustable rate - the Aqua One have a dial, some others have 2 or 3 speeds
3) have an in-line valve in the airline to help adjust tumbling
this way you can adjust the airstone, I find once the eggs get head and tails you need to turn it down anyway, presumably the eggs are lighter then.

Ok, i went down to the Midland fish shop and got all the undergravel filter stuff to make another one, exactly like the one on the Sydney forums page. One of the females i had holding, spat one egg out last night so i popped the little egg sac with eyes in the tumbler and he's still kicking this morning, all the times i've had one spit before and have tumbled them, they have died overnight... As Benga said, i attached an in-line valve and have adjusted the air going in so that has helped a lot. Also, the ones i made previously were larger/longer so the air stone was too far away from the eggs... Early days yet, but this ones working for me so far...
