Hi - I got 2 large Tandanas Tandanas a few weeks ago and I've fed sinking pellets - they head to where they are and circle around but never seen one grab any.  I don't know what else to feed them - any suggestions???  they are in a 600ltr cold water pond.

Did they come out of cold water? What were they being fed before?
Try some mullies from the servo... thaw them out and chop em in half and see what happens.

Mine would eat Hikari Foodstick, Jumbo Carni Sticks and Massivore, along with NLS Floating Pellet and medium sinking pellets and HBH Algae Wafers.

He'd eat nearly anything I threw at him. He wasn't keen on Hikari Economy or Spirulina Pellet.

Mine nail cichlid food, flakes, every thing else that goes in the tank... Mine are in warm water until summer though....

How long have they been in there? Might just be settling down.

put a small harness on them and a lead and take em to upper reaches of the swan river and they can go ballistic eating gambusia :)

ones i had years ago would smash about 500 gambusia overnight in 6 foot tank between 4 of them round 40-50cm :)

I don't know if you have noticed but it's pretty cold out at the moment.
They aren't going to be eating with water this cold.
Mine haven't eaten for about a month.

You can try mulies or live food like caterpillars etc but don't hold your breath.
