just make sure it doesnt get infected. the damage might be done inside though

still seems to be in good shape.
There is only one thing i changed.. and thats the salinity.
At the thought of his death i started to do water changes without adding saltwater so i could get it ready for other fish or empty it for reptiles.
The salinty has gone from 7ppt down to 3/4ppt..
Just thought i would share as someone may find it interesting, where as i am just stoked his eye seems to be 100% better (touch wood)

Good to hear your Jack is doing well. He is a stunning fish.
Interesting point regarding salinity, could be a learning there. Have caught these in many different regions and environments from full salt to basically fresh, but they always hit hard and fight strong, great fish.
