Hi all,

Got two seperate batches of electric yellow fry in my malawi display tank that cant be caught. The tank is full of rock piles and after stressing the fish out so much last time, i'm pretty hesitant to rip all the rocks out for the sake of catching them (there are a lot of rocks). Any Ideas I could try?

Cheers.

I believe you can buy fry catchers, hopefully someone else has more info. Any reason they can't grow out in the tank?

Try using a 'tank seperator'. I've used a peice of perspecs
Chase them to one side of the tank and place the seperator in the tank to limit the space they can escape to.
Then you can remove some of the rocks instead of most which makes it much easier.
Failing that, just do the above process when you do your next water change. Easier again.
This works for me smile.gif
