I have just picked up a new tank which came with 14 fish. i know 2 of the breeds of fish in the tank. 1st one is Venustus. have a breeding pair and 2 babies about 6cm. 2nd lot are Lombardoi Kenyi Cichlid. have a 3 at 12cm + - breeding and 4 babies about 6 cm +. the photo below is the one I can't find a name for. have been scouring the new and cichlid page but to no avail. was wanting to find a name so i can advertise and sell the fish and get the tank set up for my fish that i already have in another tank. any help would be great.

Looks like labidochromis sp. "perlmutt" to me, if I were to hazard a guess.

I would say Lombardi x venustus going by the story. You can see the faint venustus blotching in the top fish and the face is like metriaclima.

there is no doubt they are venustus crosses, with a very suspicious looking father in the back ground

Yeah, I was wondering about venustus x myself.without reading the story, so that's likely.
