Tank looks real nice, sorry stupid question for you, I read the threads about this background and I didnt notice what it was made from and what it was sealed with? Some materials can effect PH, I've seen some cements make water go so alkaline that it kills fish in a short time.
Have you been monitoring the water? - especially the PH? personally I would monitor water parameters for at least a three days to a week before I put any fish in there, and then only add a few fish in and see how they go for a few days, you know the old saying, better to be safe than sorry.

Its has been sealed with pond sealer which should keep it from changing the ph levels, I would say that Neil can answer this question better than i but i will be doing ph readings for a few days.
No fish have been put in yet .
First ph came back at 8.2 and put some acid buffer in and will check again tommorow.
