I knew someone would say that

Most research I've looked at on frontosa keepers forum says 400 ltrs is fine for 10 large adult fronties , this tank is 440 odd ltrs ..... It does look a little small but they seem pretty happy so time will tell

Honestly I hate picture background and run with black all the time.

But saying that... I haven't seen one like that before and it looks great! Good Depth!

Where'd ya get that from man?

Popped round to Dazs tonight to pick up some fish. Great dude/setup/fish!!

Fronts look great in there!

Thanks Sam , yeah Daz is a top sort ! The background is from Aquotix

Added some more caves the other day so they weren't competing over one cave , it's made a huge difference . The barring is also becoming a lot more defined as they settle in

Awesome!

I added some more driftwood to my big tank. Made it a bit lower and spread out across the back so there was more room for the ID Shark and more hiding spots for the female Americans.

Looks great now smile.gif

Oh hooton love your work man! That was the background I originally wanted, but Aquotix ran out dry.gif in saying that I was really happy with the background I got. The big 7 bars look cool. I'd really like to sell my little fronties and buy some bigger ones. They take so darn long to grow!

thanks jason, i usually like to grow my fish from from but this time i knew they were available and wanted some adults for display purposes. i'm having to cut down alot on tanks and fish because of a new job so i wanted something really nice for the display tank inside , keeps the mrs happy too ... the trophs and simmos were too much of a headache with all the agression and tempremental feeding habits .

Looks good Scotty, the only thing i'd change is the position of the power head. I'd put it on the back right pointing to the front left, as it's positioned at the moment it's pushing the current away from your inlet, instead of towards it. cheers the Hawkster
