just recently brought a tank, got some bits and bobs with it just wanting names for a couple of things if any 1 could.

Bottom ones a leather coral. Not sure on top one as the pics wont go bigger :/

cleaned my tank out today and seem to have lost a fish?, golden headed sleeper goby, any 1 have anything to say, ive checked everywhere n usually when I change things it hides under my filter with my other goby. but nothing? peacock mantis? nothing seems to be around though.

Check the floor around the tank for your Goby. If you have any pets, they may have picked it up also.

no pets inside, and nothing around the tank. he and the other goby usually hide under my internal filter when I clean and 1 came out from the bottom the other no and I haven't seen it for 2 days now, ive looked everywhere and nothing?! if there was a mantis shrimp would they go for it? I hear little noises at night but I cant see a thing, ive checked rocks and nothing aswell, so im really confused here .... :wacko:

ive seen nothing at all though, I watch the tank for hrs at a time and I see no mantis. not even when I turn the lights off,

you wont see them easily, it could also be a pistol shrimp.

well I have a smaller goby aswell and nothings happened to him, I also have a cleaner snail which I thought woulda got smashed up by now if I had a mantis, think ill do a big clean soon

i had 2 fish going missing once when i was holidays took everything out of tank except for the gravel and still couldn't find them and i just gathered the other fish had eaten them as they were ferrocious eaters 2 weeks later i was vaccuming the gravel and found them both burried
