As the title explains, my banded shrimp has lost a main claw, is it like all shellfish and will grow back?

Edit: PS. I was sold it with that name, but looking on google images I think it is Golden one

Yeah they grow back. Is there any other shrimp, crabs or fish in the tank?

He may have had a little fight...

Ah sweet. Thanks for the replies. I have no other animals in the tank so i have no idea how he lost it. I do hear clicking every now and then. I also noticed a mini crab the other day but he keeps to him self.

Thats exactly what was happening to me for ages till the other day I finally saw it, it turned out to be a tiger pistol shrimp, awesome little guy but always hiding, do u notice the sand under your rock always changing.

Haha Jules. With my peppermint shrimp he shed his full skin in one night, saw the tank the next morning. Uh-oh! The shrimp is dead!! Just his shell his left! Haha. But then I realized it was just an empty skin and there he was happy as Larry on the rocks. ;)
