Hi guys

I am about to finalise my order tomorrow for a new display tank.

As most of you know I currently have a 5 x 2 x 2.5
http://www.perthcich...showtopic=37534

Running this with community cichlids.

now

I have a 4x2x2 running a single FX5 Filter,

Am keeping this tank simple at the momment as all my energy is going into my new marine tank much more fun.

here is the pic of it all setup.

If you can change your order and get 4x2x2 then I would advise that as the extra 25% will be of great advantage.

is it correct that 4 x 2 x2 is only 55 gallon ?

and this is no good for more than 1 Oscar ?

haha yeah sorry using the term someone else said to me.

Yeah if I am going to this expense on it I would like to have more than 2 fish in it.

So I might go down the frontosa path i think ...

being that i already have a mixed tank, the second tank needs to be one type i think
would make more sense.

It's 25% of a 4x2x2 which is what I was talking about.
Cheers.

Texas Cichlids are they hard to find ?

I did see some Taxas ones today and they looked awesome..

I am thinking going down the Frontys and texas way .

as for landscape not sure..
Want it to be different to my current setup
how ever we dont like dark and gloomy look tanks. IE plants every where and woood

we like light coloured bright easy to see setups,

Good choice Tim, I'm strongly considering either getting rid of my Malawi's altogether and just going with Frontie's or just thin the tank out and get a few more Frontie's in there.
