Hi all just looking for some ideas... I see people using ibc for grow out purposes Im just asking the question what else is out there? if you wanted 20-50 grow out tubs no smaller than 500l each what options do you have.. and are these options more expensive than ibc and are they going to be just as good?

Ibc ~$50 anything else that holds 500ltrs of water will cost more.
If I were going to set up 20 - 30 though I would probably use treated pine and pond liner.

Yeah exterior plywood works good to with a pond liner,,, the box construction and liner is best for tailoring to particular dimensions.
But if you used ibcs, you can cut in half and get two at 500 liters each.
Just flip the top half upside down in its half cage and silicone the lid closed tight.
