after owning many jardinis, i have now developed a soft spot for the lei's.
they swim slower and more gracefully like an arowana, and don't belt stuff around like jars.
there longer and a bit more elongated with a slimmer profile.
a nice colour lei is just as nice looking as a jar.

Bay now sold out if jardini, we have 1 small leich. Left for $135. Should be able to get more & if trends from the past they will get cheaper & larger as season goes on.
Was that the one that come in today? Was told it was more and was ordered in for a customer?????

Price is a bit cheaper than normal margin as it is pretty small & i thought it excessive.
Dan may still think the order stands ( cant remember if i told him today, think i did but bit crazy this arvo), but i will confirm tomorrow.
Let me know if you want it & i will ring him 1st thing.

Sorry to steer a little off topic, but what do arowanas fetch these days?
Silvers vary as cheap as 350 (drop eyed specimen etc) right up to a grand I seen some, prob even more these days. A lot of the ones for sale are all 60odd cm.
I heard of a green aro for sale at 2 grand.
An arowana is a truly beautiful fish. Saratogas are awesome, but arowanas is that next level in my experience

Yet to see such a saratoga in the flesh, I can imagine the price is more then a standard one.
do you get many of this variety over east litigator?

I think this black one is a one off but I could be wrong. Let just say, opportunity to own one doesn't come around that often. There is another one though posted in MFK (on the thread Ive started there) they call it the "batik jardini".
I'm still working acquiring it, but you can visit and see it when your on my area. I was lucky to see a few Asian arowana here but really expensive and you need to be quick. I missed out on a red tail golden arowana since I didn't have enough funds to buy it. Will be happy to get this "poor man's arowana" as the next best thing.
