I see the sailfin pleco, goldspot pleco, and albino gibbi for sale all the time, but never see the common pleco. Is it still around?

Where did you get it from Johno?
Dicky it's the common pleco (Hypostomus Plecostomus), like this one:
The gibbi is a Pterygoplichthys Gibbiceps, like this photo:
check out the red whiptail next to the gibbi, looks nice hey!
I prefer the look of the common pleco to the gibbi or sailfin. Would love to get one!
Oh, and the photos above are from google image search. Second photo is from a PCS member too.

The pic above is not Hypostomus plecostomus, the real pleco has 8 rays in the dorsal fin. I have only seen 2 real plecos in the last 30 years. Johnno does yours have 8 or 13 rays.

thanks for the heads up terry
I'll re-phrase my original question to: "has anyone seen the Pterygoplichthys Multiradiatus available"?

i was at midland pet/aquarium today - saw about 6-7 of them for sale around 6-7-8cm.... forgot to look at the price sorry bud.....
terry im guessing it has 13 rays but i'll double check now..... counted 12 rays twice - so its closer to 13 than 8

I haven't had the opportunity to get out to Midland lately, but I did see a pleco (not goldspot or sailfin) at my local fish shop. Problem was, it was a trade in and had a deformed body, so I wasn't going to buy that.

All sorted now thanks mate, but I appreciate the offer. I work 5 minutes away from Vebas, and they have them in stock at the moment. Peckoltia gave me the heads up.
I also found out yesterday from a friend that Aquotix now have them in stock as well. I'm glad they are now readily available in Perth. I should take photos and track the growth of him, as he would only be about 5 or 6cm long
