I am looking for Discus from local Perth breeders or people who want to give this beautiful fish a new home. I am particulary looking for solid Blue Diamond but open to anything. Please let me know if you are selling or know anyone that want to sell this brilliant fish. My mobile is 0423338281. Thanks

I heard that people in some country like the US are able to breed heckle with heckle. The following website has good information about Discus breeding but not really up to date. Goodluck
www.aquaworldnet.com
www.zestweb.com has a nice heckle picture

I am new here So please be easy on me
D1scuslover,
I wil have some Blue Diamonds (BDs) soon. Not for sale, sorry. They are from Penang, Malaysia. I will get them on 7th March, if you would like to see them, please let me know. They are just out of Quarantine, but my friend is keeping them for another few more weeks before shipping it to me. I will post some of my old discus pictures and those new ones (in Quarantine) soon.
Ikan,
yup, some people breed heckle with heckle. The hot ones now is Curipera wild discus. It's about US$250 each. Only 2 or 3 people (as far as i know) that can breed them.
Daniel,
I have never heard any discus meeting here. But if you have info, please let us know Thanks.
Regards,
Ronny

Thats great, did you friend owned a aquarium shop or something. I been to Indonesia and Malaysia and their discus are awesome and really cheap. I think is worth the money when you are bringing them to Australia.
I dont mind coming over and see them, if you dont mind. What other discus you keep. I have one adult blue tortquise, fully colour, really nice. I will try to get the picture later on.

I have sent you a private message regarding discus breeders.
Guys i think there used to be a discus group spinoff within the cichlid society - probably now nonexistent due to lack of interest. If you guys would like to start one up again or even just to organise get togethers of discus people, please contact me and we can try to sort something out.
cheers
Vincent
