Scientific Name: Copadichromis chrysonotus

Pronunciation: Co-pad-e-chro-mis cry-son-o-tus

Trade Name(s): None

Distribution: Lake wide distribution

Habitat: Rocky & sandy areas

Diet: Zooplankton

Sexing: Males are a bluey black color with some white/yellow over the top of the body.

Females are silver with a couple of black dots through the body.

Maximum Size: 13cm

Temperature: 24 to 26c

pH: 7.5 to 9.0

Water Hardness: 300-400ppm

Availability: Rarely Available in Oz.

Comments: Only known Utaka thats breeds in open water.
