yeh definately, but honestly it would just make it more comfortable for the 4 fish, youd be able to add MAYBE 1-2 fish if you over filtered, due to their large size youd want the otto as powerhead, a sponge for biological and a very large cannister to handle all the waste

The canister would be biological and Otto sponges mechanical yeah? I dont use any sponge as Bio, just to collect all the debris from the fish waste.

Just be prepared to separate them as even in a 6x2x2 they might end up fighting... A had 2 oscars (25cm-30cm) and 1 red devil (15cm) in a 6x2x2 and the red devil use to heard them like sheep around the tank into a corner and smash them (mainly the albino Oscar not so much the tiger Oscar) I divided the tank in half with egg grate and literally reinforced it with bits of drift wood wedging it up and limestone wall each side and the devil kept ramming the divider until it gave. The tanks were in my room so the first night it was divided me and the missus woke up to a giant bang she actually shat and thought someone was breaking in even I didn't think it would be the red devil it was that loud :)

Haha, the devil is Soo aggro when she lays eggs she attacks all the other fish and my hand! Hahhahah

I am thinking a red terror and a black belt for the other cichlids.

Cheers

A lot of fish are to big for a 6x2. If that's the biggest tank you are going to have and want to keep fish until they are fully grown, don't get Dovii.
Also while your at it post some pics mate. I want to see some pics of all these sexy tanks you have running.

I will upgrade tanks when they are getting a bit big & if I can't at the time i'd re-home them. :P

I don't intend to keep them till they're fully grown in a small tank haha
