Hi all,

Welcome to Julys category of the annual Photo Comp for 2010.

Julys theme is "Macro Shot/Close Up"

Entries are to be a shot of any Fish or Crustacean shot in macro perspective, which basically means the picture shown is bigger than the subject in real life (bigger than 1:1 ratio). Photos can be cropped to help achieve the close-up effect.

Photo's entered must have been taken by the person entering them.

First place will receive their choice from the list of prizes under monthly winners here: Prize List

Second place will receive an API Freshwater Mater Test kit donated by Age of Aquariums

Also for anyone that hasn't yet noticed the change... the subject can be any Fish or Crustacean/Invertebrate (was originally Cichlid, Catfish or Marine Fish).
