Hey guys,

I have a 4ft X16"w x18"h. Was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas of what to do with it unsure.gif At the moment i have some platinum gouramis, black mollies and pictus cats. I'm not sure if I should continue with the general tropical tank or weather to go natives (Rainbows ect).

The end result I am looking for is a nice planted tank with some nice interesting fish.

Any ideas at all would be great.

Thanks.
Paul.

Don't know if rainbows will be appropriate based on the size of your tank.

300L I think is usually recommended.

The size of your tank is perfectly OK for rainbows. Just don't overstock.

What about a planted tank with Valiseneria and some hemitilapia oxyrhynchus, there a really interesting cichlid to watch. They eat from the leaf of the valis without actually harming the plant, you get the best of both worlds, a planted tank with cichlids!!! smile.gif
