Hehe - really??? Must be what they mean when they say "....in the eye of the beholder".
Exciting discovery but beauty is not among the first words that comes to my mind.

whats that sandy... ban any new discoveries .... cmon recently discovered a new species in the swan... closely related to the brasilliensis... so closely in fact they gave it the same name

They have been separated from the southern species for such a long time, so they have evolved into a separate species.
