The Emps are just starting to prove their sex. I noticed a nice male the other day and transfered him into a display tank, there are a few more looking like they may be boys.

Interested in the Astatotilapia Calliptera, can you tell the ratio of males/females you have? any pictures?

The calliptera, I think there are 3 of each. One female held full term recently. No camera sorry!

I so wanna take the rostratus of you but i am worried they would just be killed. It's a bummer coz you're pretty close to where i live.

Yeah, pretty placid the old fossies. Never seem to stick up for themselves even with much smaller tankmates.

fishnstuff, nothing personal but I would like to sell these fish privately. At lease this way it gives the kids who don't have much money a chance to avoid retail mark-ups, get some fish and get into the Hobie. I understand that shops have to run at profit, but I don't.

Because Im not in it to make money. I cleared some tanks, had excess stock, wanted to move them on. Which I have.
