Great to see the show table participants on the rise. The new tanks and lights bought by the club for this comp make it easy. Was great to see that large hertae last night that won - I never came across mature ones of these before but now they are something I would like to get a hold of in the future.

Dwarves are cool - Shellies seem to be popular at the moment and plenty of gold and blue occies around plus multies, caudopunctatus, similes and brevis. Just put a wtb ad up or check in with lfs. Some rarer shellies around at the minute too like telmatochromis vittatus, Neo callipterus and altolamprologus sp sumbu and mbita.
Stormfyre has a pretty cool collection of julidochromis variants going - most are breeding.
A few pelvicacheomis variants going around now. Might take a bit to source the really awesome variants like Nigerian reds but they are out there.
I've got a collection of west African dwarves starting to happen but no fry yet. Hemichromis guttatus - not the common red forest jewel, this type is super red. Blockheads and tinanti plus some Egyptian mouthbrooders that are holding at the minute.
lots to choose from mate - didn't even mention South American dwarves

These guys are really cool fish - a 2 foot would be considered a large tank for these guys and they're perfect tang community species too

Victorians are like that though - breed easily so become readily available and after a while they're everywhere and no one wants them anymore. Shame because they are really cool fish and quickly become hard to source. The selection of vics available in the hobby at the moment is better than ever. If you're breeding these, hold onto them and wait a couple years - soon everyone will want them again

Cool - so if this is a real disorder does it mean I can quit my job and go on the disability pension?
I need more time to hoard my fish
