My setup is smaller by far at only 275 litres, but I am having great success with hammer and plate corals as well as brains.

I currently have:
BiColor Angel
Emporer Angel (Soon destined for the 7 footer)
a pair of Tomato Clowns
3 Green Chromis (Was more however they vanish never to be seen again)
Powder blue Tang
Shrimp and snails.

It will depend on the type of lighting and the intensity it produces, my nano has a 120w basic LED, the bigger runs 6x 24w t5's (10 Hours per day)

Good luck

That tank seems fairly heavily stocked, With any angel in the tank it will be a fruitless exercise putting coral into that tank. How ever if you do try start off with corillamorphs (spelling?) and your lighting and in tank flow will limit what you can put in there.

Ok the leds are of decent construction, however it may be lacking in concentration for the more light hungry corals. The bubble tip will meet the same end as coral with the angel, My advice is either get rid of the angel or stay away from coral. They just dont co-exist even dwarf angels are touch and go, with munching corals.
Anemones are not very easy to keep, they require decent light and even then if the water flow is right they will walk all over the tank trying to find a suitable place. During this walk they usually end up in power heads which will cut them up and crash your tank. The clown fish doesnt need an anemone to live happily, they will host a whole variety of objects (even power heads).
Are you running a protein skimmer? if so what make and model.

i am running a protien skimmer but not sure of make or model as i have had it for quit a few years now. it is an internal type hanging on inside of tank and run by a 2000lph power head. seems to work well and i have had no problems with it.

Go for some Xenia, it looks cool and I've found that most fish tend to leave it alone. It doesn't require huge amounts of light and grows like a weed!! As far as anemones go there's no easy ones to keep, theyre a pain because they tend to move around a lot, often getting sucked into power heads and the like. At the moment I'm keeping a range of corals that are nice and easy to keep including Xenia, morphs, torches, hammers, rics and brains. Placement is something to think about as well because some corals will sting each other if there too close to each other smile.gif good luck with it

decided to give a bubble tip a go, I have always wanted one for my clown fish so I thought bugger it. I got one that was on a nice piece of rock and its been in the tank three days now and all looks good. it hasn't walked and the fish aren't bothering it including the angel. unfortunately my clown doesn't seem to interested either.
wasn't sure about getting xenia or morphs because of my koran angel?
