Yeh I'm a fan of the subies too, however i find them to be alittle too common and as far as price the wagons i've seen for sale tend to be afair bit more than the stagea.
In future i intend to put an r34 front on it, but for now it'll be fairly stock.

you are entering the world of imports so don't complain about part prices, or lack of parts........

Unless you go holden everythings an import anyway. Anything bigger than an astra in the male 18-25 bracket and the insurance will cost u a tonne regardless. Thats assuming no one in that bracket is interested in a Daewoo. All these import parts are taxed although these days it wouldnt surprise me if we have given Ford (being American) free trade on everything under the sun. tyvm Howard...

A good alternative imo would be the GT forrester or the WRX wagon!

FYI the forrester (at FS) is 0.2 secs quiker 0-100kmph than the wrx. Something to do with the placement of the engine displacing weight. crazy eh? I hafta agree with this fella tho the forrester is better looking than the rs4 but each to their own tongue.gif

when i say import i mean Japanese import, not first registered in Australia and have to be modified to meet compliance.
Just another thought Ford is as Australian as Holden is.

at this stage pay off the bank haha.

within the next few weeks i'm going to get an av tuner for the tv, cause i got the luxury model it has an indash tv etc although its set to asian frequency or some crap hence the reason i am getting a new receiver.

i'm also going to lower it within the next 6 months but i'm still unsure if i'm going to do engine mods because its already a killer on fuel and with the price etc going up i don't think it'll be worth it. and i gues if i want a 'fast' car i'd just sell it and get something that has already been mod'd, save alot of money.

hay man i just ought a nissan skyline r 33 turbo rb25 engine and its only done 60000 ks.

they are quite high on insurance and i am also nineteen it cost me 2800 through just car full cover, it cost 549 2nd party and 3rd party is 342
so it might be a little higher for you cause it is a newer model. But all the skyline stagea cars are great. There fast and reliable.
There is a site for body kits google in monkey warehouse bodykits really nice ones on there and all the holden fans huge range of holden kits.

Im currently paying of the bank as well so i know how your going about it. Anyway thats the prices i got .
