I find just a regular 30-40 cm fan aimed at the water surface does a great job for my planted tank.

Hi guys new to the forums..

Only recently got back into fish in the past year, had 2 Oscars about 10 years ago. Now I am into planted tanks as well.

My planted tank is 450 liters with co2 injection. Still a work in progress..

- 5 angels

- 2 Siamese algae eaters

- 8 otocinclus catfish

- 1 bristle nose

- 2 snails

-And one large 25cm ghost knife

I also has a garden pond as a temporary setup for other fish mainly cichlids. Its running on 2x 300w ehiem heaters. I cover the pond at night with a insulation cover Will post some pond pics later.

- 2 Oscars

- 2 silver dollars

- 2 clowns

-peal cichlid

-and a few other cichlids and gold fish

before and after pics and just put the hair grass in the other week.
