Interesting read:

Seems abit exaggerated though,  Aro's are alot scarcer than they used to be,  but 30k is a fair bit off the mark!

Cheers

Dave

Yes, I think $30K is a little pricey for an Aro.

Maybe they put the decimal point in the wrong place because if this ad is legit

http://vic.buyandsel...au/ad/100066537

you could pick one up from $300.

Whilst it seems around $3,000 is more the go on...

Some nice looking L numbers in the picture of 7 bagged fish though.  Are they L66 King Tigers or L46 Zebras?  It would be nice if AQIS would auction them off!

Quite possibly MrLeifBeaver, but I think only BigJohnnoFish is qualified enough an L-person to tell the difference between an L66 and an L133 in that photo!  :D

Without these 'pricks' we wouldn't see half the fish we do in Australia.

And yes Sue is right, they are Panaque nigrolineatus in the photo.

L190 most likely.

Will be interesting to see the final outcome!! Wonder how many times he got away with it before he was caught?

I think the book will be thrown, especially considering who he is.... worried about the ramifications it'll have for legitimate importers as well....

Ahhh no, although I think one of the other people raided connected to him might do. The guy who brought the fish in is a director in one of the largest fish and aquarium product exporters in Singapore
